The Services for Adolescent and Family Enrichment (SAFE) Program is an outpatient program devoted to providing mental health treatment services to children and adolescents involved with the juvenile court system in Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, PA due to problematic sexual behaviors.

The focus of SAFE is on the assessment and mental health treatment of children and adolescents who have engaged in problematic sexual behaviors. SAFE employs group treatment, individual treatment, Parent Management Training, and family therapy components. Medication Management can also be provided while receiving treatment at SAFE. SAFE also provides a range of trainings for mental health professionals in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with problematic sexual behaviors.

Our Services

The SAFE program provides clinical assessment, consultation, and treatment to children and adolescents who are mandated or ordered to this program by an Allegheny County Juvenile Court Judge in Pittsburgh, PA. due to problematic sexual behaviors. We work in collaboration with the Allegheny County Special Services Unit Juvenile Probation Department.

Currently, the SAFE Program provides assessment and treatment only to cases that are referred to us by the Allegheny County Juvenile Court.
